Seymour Surprise

This day, one year ago I went on a trip to Brandywine Mountain. The highlight of that trip wasn’t the hike itself, which was spectacular, but someone I had met. Her name is Sophie and I fell in love with her that day. Today is our 1-year anniversary since we met so in order to celebrate, we hiked up to the top of Seymour Mountain for a picnic. It turned out to be a gorgeous day. Sun was shining, the skies were blue I had a wonderful hike with my love.

On the summit of Seymour we enjoyed a tasty lunch and watched the incredible scenery of mountain chain upon mountain chain in all directions, as far as the eye can see. I set up my camera to take a picture of us both. What Sophie didn’t know was that I set the camera to record. I then kneeled and asked her to marry me. She was very surprised and extremely excited. She accepted and made me the happiest man alive. She’s a woman that shares my passions and loves me as much as I love her. I could not be luckier…
